The Eco Beach Clean Group

Please find below images taken of our fifth beach clean on Monday 15th March 2010.

Poor turn out though big results achieved on the Thursday beach clean at Compton Chine supporting the National Trust.

Nine volunteers attended including 3 from the National Trust who provided equipment, tractor and trailer to remove the rubbish on the day which consisted mainly of plastic debris, lots of large plastic containers and drinks bottles, polystyrene pieces, ropes and a fishing net as seen in the photos.

Many thanks to the volunteers who attended and who all worked very hard to remove the rubbish before the tide turned.  Special thanks to Ann Parker, Debbie Gill and David Yates for their continued support.
